The three-year program is focused on higher education in economics, management, marketing and innovation, with a heavy emphasis on language and cultural understanding.

The students will arrive in Solvang a couple of days before school starts in August. They will depart before December 24.

The International Business Baccalaureate (IBB) is Niels Brock”™s international version of the Higher Commercial Course, a business oriented 3-year program taught entirely in English - it is the same level, but otherwise unrelated to the programs of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB).

The Students

The students from the IBB-program are not just any students from any Danish high school. They are among the best and brightest from one of the country's most prestigious business colleges. The IBB-students are known for their good manners, developed social skills, high ambitions and their love of foreign cultures and languages. All students are from Denmark - a country where America is held in the highest regard - and they are all very excited by the prospect of experiencing American culture and the American way of life.

What makes IBB special

The features that differentiate the IBB from other upper-secondary courses are:

• All subjects (except languages) are taught in English
• English an German/French are obligatory subjects all three years
• Study tours and work placements abroad are essential parts of the course with a further possibility of having part of the course transferred to another country
• Working with cases and interdisciplinary studies take place every term
• Short courses in e.g. oral presentation and assertion support the other subjects

English and the chosen 2^nd foreign language (German/French/Spanish/Chinese) are all obligatory. Some of the 2^nd foreign languages are taught all three years and some of them only require 2 years of study
